Received a temporary code from Trimbox?
If you received an email from Trimbox containing a short numeric code or a one-time login link, this is completely normal — it's part of how Trimbox securely verifies your identity when you sign in.
Why does this happen?
Trimbox uses passwordless authentication. Instead of a traditional username and password, we send you a one-time verification code (or magic link) to your email address every time you log in. This is more secure than a password because:
- No password can be stolen or forgotten
- Each code is unique and expires after a short time
- Only someone with access to your email inbox can log in to your Trimbox account
What should I do with the code?
- When prompted to log in to Trimbox, check your email inbox for a message from Trimbox.
- Copy the code (or click the magic link) from the email.
- Enter the code on the Trimbox login screen to complete sign-in.
The code is typically valid for a short window (a few minutes). If it expires, simply request a new one from the login screen.
I didn't request this code
If you received a verification code you didn't request, it's possible someone accidentally entered your email address on the Trimbox login page. Since the code only works if you enter it yourself, your account is still safe — you can safely ignore the email.
