If you see two charges from Trimbox on your bank statement, it is usually because you signed up with two different email addresses.
Common reasons for double charges
- Two accounts under different emails: You may have subscribed using one email address (e.g. Gmail) and then signed up again using a different email (e.g. Hotmail or iCloud). Each subscription is treated as a separate account.
- Charged via web/Chrome Extension and via mobile app separately: Subscribing through the Trimbox website or Chrome Extension and also through the iOS or Android app creates two separate subscriptions.
What to do
Contact our support team at support@trimbox.io and include:
- The email addresses you may have used to sign up
- The last 4 digits of the card that was charged (for web/Chrome Extension subscriptions)
- Screenshots of the charges from your bank statement
We will locate both subscriptions, cancel the duplicate, and issue a full refund for the extra charge. Refunds typically arrive within 5-10 business days.
Important: If one of the charges came from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that refund must be requested directly through Apple or Google - we are unable to process those refunds on our end.
